RECESS provides our youth with opportunities to learn, play, and grow. Our program requires contributions from a range of volunteers and we welcome the continued support from our community.
Whatever your skill set, we have a role for you!
Within our programs throughout Alameda County, volunteers fulfill a number of roles that keeps our program working toward our mission of giving our youth an equitable advantage.
Our staff will connect with you and discuss which program or activity might be a great fit! Whether you can help out a youth daily, weekly or monthly, we appreciate your commitment!

Since volunteers will have access to youth, they will all need to successfully pass a background check and fingerprinting. The cost for this will be covered by RECESS FUN, INC.
