Our response to Covid-19
Our center adheres to the safety guidance and procedures as directed by the Alameda County Health Department and California Department of Education which include the following:
WEAR YOUR MASK
Staff and students are required to wear masks while onsite, at pick-up/drop-off locations, and inside our van during transportation to site.
CLEAN AND DISINFECT
High touch surfaces and supplies are cleaned daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
SANITIZE STATIONS
We will provide all necessary supplies for clean hands to reduce the spread of germs.
LIMIT SHARING
Each student will be given their own labeled school supply box for daily use to limit sharing of common items among students.
SAFE VENTILATION
The space is equipped with a Germ Guardian room air purifier with True HEPA filter, UV-C light, and odor reduction cleaning system to improve ventilation.
MONITOR OUR HEALTH
Our staff are on alert for symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19.
Staff and students will be required to complete a daily wellness and
COVID-19 screening check, which includes having their temperatures taken upon arrival and check-in.
If any child has a temperature of 100.4°F (38.0°C) or higher, their parents will be contacted and the child will be expected to be picked up immediately within one hour.
